Madarao Alpine Lodge

Madarao Alpine Lodge offers serious scale in an established ski destination, combining a substantial 10-bedroom main lodge with a separate 4-bedroom annex for a total of 14 bedrooms. The main building includes three ensuite bathrooms, two additional baths and six toilets, together with generous living, dining and communal areas, a practical kitchen, traditional Japanese elements and warm timber interiors. Large windows bring in natural light and mountain scenery, giving the property the feel of a true alpine lodge rather than a conventional private chalet.

The separate annex adds four more bedrooms, one bath and one toilet, creating valuable flexibility for staff, owners, management or additional guests. With two buildings, 14 bedrooms and extensive shared spaces already in place, this is a property with clear potential as a private group retreat, multi-generational mountain base or hospitality-style operation, while still leaving room for future renovation and repositioning in Madarao Kogen.
